Sprocket arrived! It was for a bigger type of chain so I had to grind it thinner, but it should work just fine. Waiting on access to a lathe to precision cut it to fit the clutch.

On the bike side of things I affixed the 2 speed sprocket to the front for the chainsaw chain, and put on a 16in front tire from my scrap pile since the 20in one was leaking. Also cut the main engine mount and attached it to the engine.

Picked up a bike today, got the chain unseized, replaced the seat because it was completely rusted out, and aired up the tires.
I also took apart the chainsaw and removed the clutch, which I have sitting on my desk rn. I plan on on cutting off the original sprocket from it and welding on a tiny one from a spare road bike cassette I have, and gearing it down once again by welding more sprockets together on the original pedal crank
when in doubt, weld a bunch of sprockets together

I was looking for a chainsaw to use as a motor on a bike.
My coworker had one that had been sitting around for 15 years that was seized up, so he just fucking gave it to me.
Brought it home, took off the pull start, found out it was the only part that was seized, sanded and oiled it, tightened the chain and replaced the fluids and bam, 20 or so pull starts later I had a working chainsaw

The mazda has been sputtering after a while of driving, mainly up slopes. Replacing the fuel filter fixes this momentarily but it comes back after a while, so I dropped the tank today and am gonna thoroughly clean it out, and maybe rebuild the carb since I have a kit for it
